About the Team

Our Brand Studio team crafts Typeform's brand, and helps position us as the go-to option for building meaningful conversations at scale. We do this through beautiful design and unique user experiences.Our Brand Studio has evolved over the last year - we've recently launched our Brand Studio v.2.0, so it's a very exciting time to join the org. Our leaders are Karrie Sanderson, who joined this year as our Chief Marketing Officer (previously at Smartsheet) and Laszlito Kovacs our Senior Director of Creative Expression (previously at WeTransfer) - they bring a wealth of experience building world-class design processes and design thinking to our teams.

Our team's mission is to bring a delightful brand to the center of our culture. This happens through close collaboration with the whole company—from Product and Marketing to People Operations and Customer Success.

Typeform is entering a new stage and scaling quickly, and we're looking for a Copywriter to help us evolve our brand as we grow.

About the role

Reporting to our Content Manager, Christabel Larkin, you'll be an essential contributor to Typeform's Brand Studio, supporting various teams and channels across our two products: Typeform and VideoAsk.

Things you will do:

  • Craft copy that performs highly for everything from site navigation and landing pages to social posts and emails.
  • Optimize messaging through research and data, using learnings to iterate further based on user behavior.
  • Concisely share and justify your writing to internal stakeholders, taking feedback onboard and knowing when to action it.
  • Share candid feedback with colleagues, being generous with your time to help improve the teams' creative potential.
  • Bring clarity to projects through a growth mindset, updating colleagues through succinct communication and proactively finding solutions to resolve doubts.
  • Work closely with different teams to help create effective user experiences that perform well across all stages of the customer journey.
  • Embody the Typeform tone of voice when writing, helping to keep things consistent and flagging when they're not.
  • Contribute strategic thinking to campaigns, especially at the conceptual stage.
  • Go from ideation to finished product using an array of collaborative tools, like Asana and Miro.
  • Partner with designers and user researchers to create, edit, and publish content that supports our company goals and priorities.
  • Help to manage relationships with stakeholders on behalf of Brand Studio.

What you already bring to the table:

  • You're a native English speaker.
  • Crisp, clear copy is part of your DNA.
  • You have at least 5 years of copywriting experience, ideally in scale-ups.
  • Experience of multi-channel marketing campaigns, working efficiently for fast-paced global SAAS or scale-up companies, or startups.
  • Experience working with a CMS, style guides, and design systems and processes, being able to contribute to documentation to help bring scale and consistency.
  • You champion user-centric copy practices, with experience using message testing platforms to validate your direction.
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary teams, managing and leading small projects end-to-end.
  • Experience working in an Agile way.
  • You're a self-organizer.
  • Your portfolio showcases engaging, functional copy.

  • Experience mentoring junior copywriters.
  • You're already familiar with our products.
