Analytics Manager (Funnel)

The Analytics Manager of the funnel team has a huge (but achievable!) task ahead of them.  You will be leading a team of (seriously bright) data analysts focused on helping Typeform grow as a business. 

Every one of your colleagues here will be some of the most interesting, intelligent and well-travelled people you have worked with.  And, we’ll be relying on you for your experience in Sales and Marketing reporting and analysis, as well as your strong background in Business Intelligence.

Our data platforms are incredibly advanced, fronted by Looker as our visualisation and reporting tool.  We need to build simple and intuitive reporting that accurately reflects our business processes, and we need to build advanced analytics capabilities that follow our daily, weekly and monthly business review cadence.

The role will directly manage members of the Data Analytics team, and will be committed to people development, mentoring and support. The role will communicate and work with senior directors, managers and individual contributors across Typeform.

Experience in a dynamic start-up/scale-up environment is great, but equally important is experience of strong governance and scalable practices learnt from a blue-chip business.

Job description

• Take ownership of Sales and Marketing reporting and KPIs at Typeform.
• Ensure increased use of automated reports and data visualisation to reduce reliance on manual/bespoke reporting.
• Ensure the further development of reporting to ensure information can be easily interpreted to improve performance and meet the needs of all stakeholders.
• Ensure your team’s BAU and project work is aligned with the data science, data enablement and other data analytics teams.
• Ensure new business processes (new features, marketing campaigns, organisational changes, etc.) are reflected in reporting and analytics in a timely manner.
• Ensure the team delivers all required reporting on time, to the highest quality and in the most efficient way.
• Ensure all work in the team is prioritised clearly against the company strategy and team objectives.
• Fulfil a strategic role on the Data Team’s Leadership Team

Experience

Essential

• Experience of SQL, data warehousing concepts and advanced analytics
• Experience of managing staff
• Experience of highly-performant Business Intelligence practices
• Experience in developing performance reporting for Sales and Marketing teams
• Experience in using data visualisation tools
• Experience in training and developing staff

Desirable

• Experience in a start-up/scale-up SAAS business
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Looker
