That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Research Assistant to tackle complex problems in a collaborative way.

“We’re inspired by our customers and in turn we want to inspire them with great experiences. We’re building a Research team at Typeform that’s taking on exciting challenges across the company.”  

You’ll team up with other researchers in a fast-paced, customer-focused startup. You’ll engage with cross-functional teams that include designers, devs, QA, engineers, data scientists, and product managers. You’ll support Typeform's Research team and you’ll be a key collaborator for product ideation, A/B testing, and analysis.

The Role

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Support members of the research team conduct appropriate research.
  • Recruit participants for research projects—this includes contacting potential participants, vetting them, and scheduling appointments for research sessions.
  • Collaborate with product designers and product researchers to analyze the results in qual and quant research projects.
  • Use a variety of research methods to understand our customers and drive business decisions.
  • Share and promote insights that drive forward the strategic direction of the organisation.
  • Promote UX research best practices across Typeform.
  • Represents the user’s point of view to wider teams describing the impact of design decisions and feature prioritization on the user experience.
  • Be skilled in breaking down large complex issues into simpler elements that can be effectively addressed.
  • Collaborate with product designers and product managers to create positive experiences for our customers.

You

Here’s what we’d like to see:

  • You have demonstrated experience (no less than 2 years) in the research field, in digital products or academic research.
  • You have experience working across different research methods,
  • You have a good understanding of UX design principles and methodologies (users’ feedback, user research, contextual interviews, and competitive/analogous research).
  • Strong motivation to run research and natural curiosity to understand user’s psychology.
  • You have the communication skills to help stakeholders and cross-functional teams understand thoughtful insights. 
  • You have experience building research project reports/updates. 
  • You can prepare interview questions and summarize results. 
  • You’re a natural listener, proactive, adaptable, and collaborative.
  • You’re fluent in English. English is our working language.

  • You’ve worked in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
  • You’ve worked in a startup environment and are a creative problem solver.  
  • You’ve got a weird/cool hidden talent.
