One sunny Barcelona morning, two designers sat down to build a beautiful lead gen form for a bathroom company’s showroom. They ended up reimagining the data collection experience, and realized it was one idea they wouldn’t be flushing down the toilet. Today, Typeform is a team of over 300 people from more than 35 countries, with offices in Barcelona, Spain and San Francisco, US.

About the Team

You’ll work closely with the Director of Brand to help position Typeform and its products as leaders in their category. You’ll help with the planification and execution of Typeform's strategy, and work with internal teams across departments to increase brand awareness, engagement, and affinity to drive more word of mouth.

We deliver both business and customer value by exercising our imagination to first "create data", and then using that data to make better decisions, or be "data driven".

About the Role 

What you’ll do:

  • Create strategies and executable plans that deepen the positioning of the category, brand, and products within and beyond Typeform
  • Analyse the market and cultural trends for developing hypotheses, running tests, and experiments boldly
  • Execute both internal and external brand campaigns together with an impact measurement 
  • Track our brand KPIs and analytics to drive future decisions
  • Provide multi-touchpoint actionable insights from the brand strategy to drive long-term brand value and immediate business impact
  • Oversee campaign strategy and its execution
  • Drive experimental projects that potentially can lead Typeform to new products
  • Help to turn Brand & Communication into a profit center for the business
  • Make Typeform the future of conversational experiences
  • Develop strategic plans and inspiring focused briefs for the Brand Innovation team to create breakthrough ideas
  • Identify opportunities to advance brand/category strategy across the business
  • Develop our brand architecture along with our Director of Brand, Director of Strategy, and CEO
  • Merge cross-functional efforts with our Head of PR (and other teams) for planning media activities
  • Work collaboratively with our Content Experience team to develop our content distribution plan

About you

Typeform is growing very rapidly. With growth, comes ambiguity and frequent change. To be successful in this role, you must be a highly motivated, proactive self-starter who can operate in a dynamic environment of a fast-growing company. You must be a strategic thinker and an exceptional relationship builder. 

Here’s what we’re after:

  • 3+ years of experience positioning brands. You are insights-driven and are a customer advocate—truly understanding how a brand does impacts people's perceptions
  • Strong self-management capabilities to achieve final, high-quality, impactful results
  • Exceptional analytical skills, experience driving revenue & advertising median growth to hit financial plans and targets
  • Proficiency on taking in a huge amount of seemingly unrelated data, ideas and random thoughts, and creating a focused Big Idea from the chaos
  • Ability to bring a people-first mindset, with a passion for cross-functional collaboration
  • Being a problem solver, process oriented, ability to foster team spirit and performance
  • Initiating and caring about process and results, being responsible and accountable
  • Ability to work with limited resources and constraints to produce creative work
  • Strong English communication and presentation skills, written and verbal

Bonus round (not compulsory, but you’ll hit the high score):

  • Have 2+ years of experience in SaaS environments or high growth companies
  • Already used Typeform and know a bit about our customers
  • Have familiarity with U.S. pop culture and the U.S. market in general
  • Have read "Badass" by Kathy Sierra
