Can I choose to allow multiple submissions or limit my respondents to just one submission?

You can use the Allow Multiple Submissions checkbox to control this behavior.

- When you select the Allow Multiple Submissions checkbox, the form will restart every time a respondent completes it.

- When the Allow Multiple Submissions checkbox is empty, the form can only be completed once, and it will show the "Thanks for responding" message when a respondent submits it.

How can I view responses in Intercom?

Responses from a completed form will be displayed in the chat as an internal note in Intercom once a form is submitted. The note will look something like this:

If you can’t see the notes displayed, you can also search for responses to a form directly in Intercom, as explained in this video.

How can I set up a Custom Bot that uses typeforms?

How can I uninstall the Typeform app?

You can uninstall the Typeform app in the Intercom App Store. To do this, go to the Intercom App Store, search for or select the Typeform app on the screen, click Uninstall, then choose a reason for uninstalling from the dropdown list and type UNINSTALL in the confirmation field. You can then reinstall the app by simply clicking Install now. You can also check out this video that explains the process.

How can I delete a Typeform block from Intercom, but not the Typeform app itself?

Click Add an app in Intercom and select Delete block from the options that appear, as seen in the screenshot below:

Why does the Ending screen only appear for a second or not at all?

The Ending screens of your typeforms aren't shown to respondents because Intercom closes the messenger when the "submit" button is clicked on the typeform.

Can I use Redirect to URL in typeforms integrated with Intercom?

No, redirects will not work on typeforms that are used in Intercom.

Does Typeform work with both Intercom inbound and outbound chat?

Yes it does. The Typeform block works on inbound and outbound chats in the same way.

Can I integrate Typeform into Intercom emails?

You can’t add your typeforms to Intercom emails just yet, but you can add a hyperlink to your form in the email or add a button that links to your form. This video explains how.

Can I pass Hidden Fields in the Intercom integration and map them to anything I want?

Yes, you can. You can find all the details about mapping to Hidden Fields in this Help Center article or this quick video.

Note that you can only map to User Data fields but not Company Data fields.

Can I have more than one Intercom account connected per Typeform account?

No, only one Typeform account can be connected to an Intercom account.

Why hasn't the contact in Intercom been updated with the details from the form?

This is not supported by this integration, we cannot update contacts in Intercom with data provided in a form. You can also check out this video for an explanation.
