Apply colors to your typeform

Your typeforms’ color palette can be customized to fit your brand guidelines, website design, blog theme, or any visual style you find interesting.

You can edit the colors of your typeform under the Design panel, Colors section.

We offer two solutions to customize the colors of your typeform:

  1. Custom color adjustment
  2. Color palettes

Custom color adjustment

You can use the custom color adjustment tool to get the exact colors you need. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open a typeform,
  2. go to your typeform’s Design panel,
  3. go to the Colors section,
  4. click on the Custom tab, Custom Color
  5. customize the four hex values*:
    1. Question: the text color of your questions.
    2. Button: the color of all the buttons (you can also choose transparent)
    3. Answer: the text color of the answer.
    4. Background: the background color of your typeform.
  6. Finally, click on the Apply to typeform button to save your settings. Apply to typeform
You can either use the color picker or you can manually type the color codes. You will be able to preview the changes live as you play around with the pickers.

Color palettes

Alternatively, if you don’t have time to create your own palette, or don’t feel inspired, just choose one of the ready-to-use ones we offer:

  1. Open a typeform,
  2. go to your typeform’s Design panel,
  3. go to the Colors section,
  4. click on PalettesColor palettes
  5. select one that suits your brand,
  6. finally, click on Apply to typeform to save the changes. Apply to typeform
